Aaron earned a degree in Sociology with certificates in African Studies and Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Aaron was the two-term President of the undergraduate queer student alliance, an HIV/AIDS peer educator, a student representative to the Anti-Discrimination Policies Committee and a director of a queer-themed reading group. Aaron is currently in a MPH program and recently received a scholarship from Lambda Foundation, a local LGBT advocacy group. He is excited to be in the LGBT Individual’s Health and Wellness program, as it is a first-in-the world, accredited Public Health program with a curriculum that focuses specifically on a wide range of LGBT issues within the field.
