2007 Alumni Conference

To date, twenty-six Point Scholars have graduated from college with the support of Point Foundation. Fourteen of our alumni attended the Foundation’s first Alumni Conference in Los Angeles in June of 2007 under a theme of “Creating Leaders – Leaders Created.” Also in attendance at Point’s first Alumni Conference were four members of Point’s Board of Directors as well as Point’s management team.

The Alumni Conference agenda consisted of workshops designed to galvanize an Alumni Association and provide future support in areas such as career development, networking, finance and investment training. Throughout the course of the conference, the alumni also identified ways in which they can give back to Point.

By August of 2008, nearly forty-five Point Scholars will have graduated and completed their degrees, thus becoming part of Point’s Alumni Association..
