Chris Garcia

Conference & Program Manager

Chris joins Point after an extensive administrative career in entertainment, nonprofit and finance. Most recently he was the lead assistant to independent film producer Andrea Sperling and worked on the feature films “Sympathy for Delicious”, Mark Ruffalo's directorial debut and winner of a Special Jury Prize at Sundance 2010, and “Kaboom”, a Gregg Araki movie to be released in the fall. Prior to working with Sperling, Chris was the Office Manager in the Los Angeles office of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the Operations Manager at Moviola Digital Education Center in Hollywood.

He also did a brief stint as a video editor for Prince at the singer's Minnesota complex Paisley Park. Chris loves music and attending concerts, reading music bios, watching movies and is always working to complete a feature screenplay.
